ABOUT US

The COMMEMORATIVE EVENT COMMITTEE FOR THE MAY18 PEOPLE’S UPRISING is centered on the public participation, and brings together diverse people from all walks of life as well as various related organizations.

We are involved in a wide array of activities that align with the purposes of this committee, including memorial events and research projects related to the May 18People’s Uprising, education and outreach efforts to keep alive the spirit of the May 18 People’s Uprising, and partnerships with other regional or international organizations.

By continuing in the spirit of the May 18 People’s Uprising, we aim to build an actively democratic and communal society, as well as contribute to the reunification of the nation.
