You are invited to join an online media roundtable with the IOC President Kirsty Coventry at 13:00 CET on Wednesday 21 January.

Registration is mandatory by Monday, 19 January, 18:00 CET via the following link.

The roundtable will be divided into two sections.

As you know, the IOC President is currently leading a “Fit for the Future” process, evaluating the current challenges and opportunities for the Olympic Movement. All stakeholders are being included in this consultation, and the first half of the roundtable will be an opportunity for you, the media who report on the Olympic Movement, to discuss your thoughts with the President.

This section of the roundtable will remain a confidential discussion, not for reporting.

In addition, if you would like to contribute to the Fit for the Future process in writing, ahead of the roundtable, the IOC would be delighted to hear from you. The consultation is focused on five pillars: “Athletes”, “Olympic Games”, “The Olympic Movement”, “Better World Through Sport” and “Reach, Engagement and Revenue Generation”.

Please email your thoughts on the relevant opportunities and challenges to fitforthefuture@olympic.org. All submissions will be included in the process.

The second half of the roundtable, joined by IOC Executive Director of the Olympic Games Christophe Dubi, will be an “on the record” briefing ahead of Milano Cortina 2026. This will be an opportunity for you to ask the President questions ahead of the Olympic Winter Games.

The expected timings are:

Fit for the Future – 13:00-13:30 CET

Milano Cortina 2026 – 13:30-14:15 CET

You are welcome to join either one or both sections of the roundtable.

Please note that, as part of the registration process, we may ask you to provide a press card or a letter from your editor in order for us to accept your registration.

Please click here to access the instructions on how to log in and ask questions during the roundtable.
